Last week Mel, 
Edward and James came to check out our new abode. The barn was a big hit with places to hide and many odds and ends of wood and metal to make guns with, and 
a wobbly go-kart. Not so much 
for Mel who'd had enough of monster spiders after the first evening. We started a walk along the Irfon valley, with wonderful views, but lost the boys in the bracken!!

We started a walk along the Irfon valley, with wonderful views, but lost the boys in the bracken!!There's no free lunches around here however far you've walked, so we soon set them to chopping down the bamboo, which proved a great success, and gave us some free homegrown canes for next year's crops. Yummy food parcel much appreciated (after they'd gone!!).
