Sunshine and jam

Making the most of a couple of days of blue sky,

we're back out with saws and spades. One of the old apple trees has had a haircut, so more wood for the fire when it gets colder.

And the new apple tree given to us by our friends at BGS has been planted in what will eventually be the veg patch.

Blackberries and damsons collected by Ann have gone into jams and chutneys, Jen showing some dangerous signs of WI capabilities!!
