Wobbling on mountains

The first weekend of the November beer festival got off to a good start with great live bands in two of the pubs, plenty of Welsh beers and even a couple of drinkable ciders. On Saturday we watched a few hundred mountain bikers wobble past the house during the day, caked in mud under a bright blue sky. We'll need some company and encouragement next year to make the 25 miles of tracks. The second day of the real ale wobble might be a bit quieter with hangovers and last night's rain to add to the cyclists' pain. We're looking forward to the more gentle real ale ramble next weekend.
