Romans & Beer

 Mid January brings the Roman festival of Saturnalia which for centuries has been associated with the sport of mountain bike chariot racing and beery festivities.
Although the weather was pretty terrible (but not unexpected for the time of year) a small, but committed number of teams raced around the grounds of the Abernant.



Festivities continued into the evening with the Neaudd hosting a small beer festival and toga party...



..even the band joined in unleashing an original BC Strat from the workshop of Fenderius (all hail!)

    you're taking part next year right? you have the bikes so there's no excuse not to knock up some chariot type affair...
