This week started with a family gathering to celebrate Sue's Birthday.

Clive and Pauline then joined us for a few days; after a couple of relaxing trips to Gwenffrwd-Dinas RSPB reserve and some gardens in Talybont-on-Usk, we set them to work.

The slippery rocks at Gwenffrwd-Dinas didn't make it an easy walk, but was worth it for the scenery.

Yep it's time for yet more digging, cutting and burning.

We ended the week at the Llanwrtyd Show, no prizes for our jam or chutney and luckily we're too old for the sack race, but a bit of a laugh and a great way to meet some more locals.
