Last weekend we had a flying visit to Nottingham, but caught up with lots of friends at a beetroot and seafood bonanza - thanks to the Lyons-Lewis's. Oysters were a new experience to many of us; you'd never know that Jen went back for seconds from her expression! The chocolate and beetroot icecream looked beautiful and was interesting, not least because of the after effects....

We came home to snowy hillsides and thankfully clear roads. Our garden is a winter picture.
On Wednesday Jen was locked out (went home early without the house keys - doh!) so took a walk up Dinas hill to keep warm. The views were wonderful and I was accompanied by Lucy, the builder's ever enthusiastic dog.
