Frost and fog

We've had a few frosty and foggy days but that hasn't put us off getting out and about for a few essential jobs and enjoying the company of friends and family.

However beautiful the scenery we decided to put off any wild swimming until the warmer weather.

Pete and Andrea joined us for a hilly amble to the beer festival in Llanwrtyd's three pubs. We soaked up some of the scary ales and ciders with pork cobs and crackling, yum (luckily no veggies were visiting).

Here we are in the marquee at the Stone Croft seeking sustenance...

Our recovery from a beery night was aided by 20 minutes in the garden trying to round up horses that had broken in and were rapidly turning our carefully raked meadow patch into a quagmire. We called on our well- hidden corralling expertise.
