Sunshine and cake

Whoops, we seem to have neglected our blog for a few weeks again. It's because the weather has been so good and we've been out and about.


Sunshine at Dinas Reserve

 
Last week we celebrated Jen's Birthday with a wander in Allt-Rhyd-y-Groes and Dinas RSPB reserves, followed by a big slab of cake in Randirmwyn. We were hoping the bluebells would be up, but were a week or so too early, so this week or next we'll be back, should be a carpet of blue. Paul made Jen a whinberry (bilberry) comb so we'll be collecting in the summer for jam, wine and puddings. Yum!

A few more wild swimming spots were located.

The new greenhouse is now earning it's keep and it's been dry enough for Paul to get the chainsaw out, so yes, we're gardening again....
