Sunny days out

Whoops, been neglecting the blog again! It's all go in sleepy Wales.

Pauline and Clive came over for a week and timed it perfectly with the sunny weather, we and they had some great days out. We took a trip over the Devil's Staircase to Tregaron (and had fantastic coffee and cake in the Talbot Hotel http://ytalbot.com/, then on to Cors Caron (Tregaron Bog),

and Soar Y Mynydd: Wales' most remote chapel.

Bright blue skies welcomed us at the National Botanical Gardens of Wales,

 

 

feeling inspired to create some large willow sculpture in the garden

 

followed by a tasty dinner in the Neuadd Fawr Arms in Cilycwm; Happy Anniversary to Pauline and Clive.
