Catching up with old friends

The B&B's been busy over the summer, even so we've managed to catch up with a few old friends on their way through; Fran, Andy and gang stopped by for a natter in the sunshine.

and this week Wendy, Andy, Emma and Lexie stayed for some foraging. We had chicken-of-the-woods on toast, bilberry sauce and blackcurrant pie. There's blackcurrant jam in jars and bilberry (whinberry) jam on the stove.

Last week we had a mini holiday in North Wales, thanks to Martin and Michelle, with a night in Barmouth, and another with Dave and Katie. We did a little sightseeing on the coast

Dave's been working hard to use up all the stones uncovered by the demolished barn; and we thought we worked hard!!
