A bit of blue sky

Jen's Mum Ann has been visiting this week and sadly we've been waking up to low cloud hiding the hills, but yesterday the sun burnt it all off and we were treated to blue sky and hot sun; time for a cuppa in the sun-trap that is our patio. Much deserved after a session of town gardening - keeping Llanwrtyd square pretty. Today I just couldn't resist another look at the wonderful bluebells in Dinas, so Mum and I took a trip over the hills and finished our walk with a Dr Grandads delicious apple juice in the Bridge at Towy.

Last weekend was the Welsh Stone Skimming Championships, won by the Scottish champ - Dougie - one of our B&B guests came third - an outsider who is getting into the sport.
