Some cold weather and misty river valleys have given us some beautiful views of Llanwrtyd and surrounds from the hills around our house. It's strange to look down on the clouds.

Sue and Barney joined us for a long weekend of frosty mornings and chilly walks, with welcome warm ups by our fire and in one of the pubs. Ah, the joy of relaxing with a pint after a wander in the cold.
Sue made the most of our bird watching hide (otherwise known as the kitchen), seeing a few species for the first time. And today we had the treat of two pairs of Crossbills in an Ash tree beside the house. It's a twitchers dream!!
