Gardens, froglets and cousins

Yesterday we had a surprise visit from (cousin) Sheila and Mick, who look the same even though it's been 15 years since we last saw each other. A bit of a drizzly day, but no matter as no amount of rain can stop a good catch up chat over lunch.

On Monday Jen escaped the rain for a gardening club trip to Herefordshire, enjoying the lovely rambling water gardens at Westonbury and the more formal garden at Newport House. The inventive bottle recycling at Westonbury was much admired, we've only another 5950 bottles to collect or maybe build a waterspout tower?!

It might take us a couple of years to match the lawns and veg garden at Newport House...

Avoiding the hundreds of thumbnail-size froglets emerging from the lake was a bit of a problem, but admiring the new piglets was easy.
