Today we were out into the cold and a tiny flurry of snow, timing the 2nd Red Kite Winter XC Series Mountain Bike event. Thanks to the Coed Trallwm cafe for a warm fire and hot soup to get the blood flowing again. Biking was definitely the warmer option!
Last week was fairly dry so the chainsaw was out and a few trees were felled, our wood store is building up and we have a lovely bonfire stack ready to go. The last of the tomatoes were picked and the greenhouse tidied up (yes, they were still producing) ready for planting this year's crop with fingers crossed for a slightly warmer dryer year.
