Here's what we've been up to in Sept and early Oct....
.. a bit of camping and wild swimming with friends at the end of August - at the bottom of our garden so a few of us slept in the house. The campers had nightly badger and bat visits and the local horses came to investigate too. Spooky.
Mum came to stay for a week and we had a trip to the ever lovely Aberglasney.
we've been painting the town mural with help from our friends..
..we did some marking for the International 4 days walks, as ever choosing the wettest days, thanks to Eugene for rescuing us in Rhandirmwyn.
We've made a lot of jam and chutney
and then sold some at the Farmers Market

Our garden's gone mad and mini mog (Nefertiti) has been enjoying the hay cut by Paul..
back on his feet after a quick dip (off the back of the board) |
Olive and Ray came to stay, we took a trip to Dinas RSPB and saw dippers and lots of fungi, but sadly no peregrine...
We've had lots of B&B guests and friends to stay, and had a trip to Notts in early Oct for Mark's 50th and to see other friends, it was even sunny enough for a BBQ. As usual Pete and Andrea looked after us well. We dropped in on Montgomery on our way home and had a mooch around the castle and an Aladdin's cave ironmongery..
Yesterday we had the fire on and Morty found the perfect fireside "rug"
