Foraging and more

It's been an amazing year for fruit - we've made jam, fruit wine, chutney and puddings - and although a bit dry for mushrooms we had an excellent fungi foray with Daniel Butler near to Abbey Cwm Hir.
 We took away enough for a wild mushroom risotto and to go in our scrambled eggs on our mini break in the Llyn Peninsular.
 
 
 
 
We topped off our holiday with a trip to Helsby to see Sue and Andy and a visit to Erddig Hall for the annual apple festival.
